to Philosophy of Divine Revelation.

 

By "divine revelation" I understand the notion of revelation of God as has been understood in the Western, Jewish and Christian traditions.

By "philosophy" I understand rigorous, synoptic, and historically well informed theoretical thinking .

 

The aim of a philosophy of divine revelation is to  reach complex and well structured understanding of the notion of revelation in its historical  developments and general and specific importance.

 

This understanding may lead us not only to the recognition of new emphases in the history and theory of the notion of divine revelation, but even to new insights about the same.

 

In particular, this site is to promote philosophical thinking about the fact, the possibility, and the various contents of divine revelation. Thus, this site is about philosophical theology in the Christian perspective which originates in Hellenistic and Jewish conceptions.
